THE LAST ATOMIC BOMB documents what happened in Nagasaki, with primary focus on a survivor and young people carrying on her legacy. Interweaving current interviews and rarely seen archival footage, the 90-minute production also includes still controversial topics, such as the decision to use nuclear weapons, the Press Code that barred any media reports within Japan about the bomb or its effects, the Cold War build-up of nuclear weapons, and today's continuing crisis of nuclear proliferation.

"This is a film of great documentary significance and moral beauty — In the quiet courage of the hibakusha's accounts, and in the response of the young who listen, the determination is clear: Nagasaki must be the last atomic bomb." Joanna Macy, author and activist, Berkeley, California.

Producer Kathleen Sullivan will be at the screening which will be introduced by Atomic Mirror British Coordinator Janet Bloomfield
